The elusive update

It's coming, it really is. Apparently it takes updates slightly longer to reach you when I write them from my hometown, where I'm currently visiting family and friends I haven't seen for months (read: fattening up on barbecued everything and probably drinking too much). But the update's coming. And soon. I've already started it. It's going to be about a man I met on the internet and how I am likely losing touch with reality, but so totally enjoying it. And then you can make fun of me. And then I will make fun of me, too. And he'll probably read it.

Yow! I hope it goes better than all the other "man I met on the internet" stories, which usually end with one party being unable to tell the story.

Too busy kissing water dwellers and drinking something that sounds the way I feel with a hangover?

How about INSERT OTHER COASTAL STEREOTYPE HERE? No? I thought all you people did that.

;-P

Well, I'm on the edge of my seat, too!

I'm sitting down now, covered in mosquito bites and listening to the sound of the waves, ready to fill you in.

Now, if I can just make sense of it. I mean me.

I have complete confidence that you know what you're doing... Go for it!

I asked a friend of mine the other day about another couple. He said they met on match.com. They are the cutest couple ever. Can't wait to read your update.

I am so working on it. Trying to do it justice really. Still covered in mosquito bites, and trying to get that elusive moment to myself for this elusive update.

I promise to bare all!

Careful there Miss S. I've recently been disowned by a lovely friend whom I blogged about. Ah.. tact. I knew thee well.

On the other hand, looking forward to living vicariously. Just sose you know, I like stories with dragons in them. If you could slot in a dragon or two that would be ace. Ta.

Ooch. Sorry to hear that, Davey. Thanks for the words of warning, but, as is part of my charm, I'll be learning my lessons the hard way.

Besides, a little scandal is good for the soul.
