I feel like just spelling it "humour" makes the claim for you. Since I spell it, "humor," I think I'm actually required to laugh at this, which I did, so all's to the good.
pistols - You can laugh at all of Canada then, even more than you (and much of the world) likely already do[es], because we spell it like that there, too. I'll continue to laugh at the prospect of "cockfostering".
LOVE IT! I'm ALL about finding stuff like this - nothing proves you can't grow up from 15 years old like this, right?? Yesterday, I found a screwdriver yesterday called "Stubby" and cracked up... I'm always on the look-out for twisted and perverted signs and products, etc. Hope you are doing GREAT!!!! :)
When I was in London and I heard the train announcement for Cockfosters, I turned my head toward my friend and we laughed. Yes, we were juvenile 28 and 26 year olds.
When I'm not journaling in obscurity, I'm flirting with disaster, missing planes and planning adventures. I've just moved back to Canada from London (UK), where I developed unsavoury habits like looking left before crossing the street, holding my fork curved down, and asking for the 'loo'. Follow me as I fumble my way to familiarity in my new home – Toronto . I promise won't spare you the gritty city details.

You'd LOVE it here then! Cockfosters is the end of the line, so they announce it many times over on the tube, in a snooty accent at that.
And I just noted that it's very close to Hairy 'n'gay.
