Calling all alternate realities

I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really just want to hop a plane to India today. Or rural Mexico. Any happy place will do. Even Nova Scotia:

These are my feet in hand-knit socks Cathy's mom made, on the deck of their family home on Nova Scotia's Lighthouse Route. Oh, and that's a bottle of her dad's homemade wine. We stole it from the cellar; evidence that some of the best things in life never change.

My god, you're fickle. YOU JUST GOT TO THE UK. Sit still for a minute, fidget.

i am playing outside - Thanks! Though, I love the idea of living cheaply in paradise for a month or two. Who doesn't, really?

Un-Bob - But, sitting still is expensive in London

Hope your day turns around!

Love the socks, I always loved getting them but hated the mittens! That little hole by my thumb that let the snow in and the snow balls that hung off of them GRRRRRRR

How I miss getting them for Christmas though. You pic is making me miss my Grandmother :(

Raven - Thanks! My socks are still in Montreal, waiting to be mailed across the ocean to me. And, about your grandmother, I hear you. It's amazing how such a mass produced product used to be such a product of craftsmanship and love.

And, even if my day didn't get better, my attitude did.
